Copyright and photo credits for most of the photos featured on our website belong to Kathy L. Wood, Tengwood Organization and are not to be copied or used without express permission. Chimp photo credits belong to Erica Farrell from Zoo New England and are used with her permission and many thanks. Many of the drill and chimp photos were taken at Pandrillus, a drill sanctuary in Nigeria that rescues orphaned drills and chimps found in local markets or as pets. High Resolution prints of our chimpanzee and drill photos are available by request.
Other photos on this website are thanks to a number of people. Photos of the Illegal trade in wildlife are an invaluable tool in documenting the threats to primate populations - most of the photos we have featured on this site were taken by Karl Ammann and used with his permission and our gratitude. Photos by or Bruno Tenger/Tengwood Organization, Peter Nichols, Ian Redmond, and LAGA/The Last Great Ape Organization are also featured on some pages. We thank the following people for permission to use select photos: Gashaka Gumpti Primate Project, Christina Demetrio/Zoo New England, and Peter Jenkins/Pandrillus.
